Sometimes, it’s nice to just have fun on the web and play silly games, read funny stories, and find unique sites that catch the eye. It’s how I like to while away the time on Friday evenings when I don’t feel like reading books or watching movies.
I’ve found some pretty amazing things during my ‘adventures’ on the intricate World Wide Web, and like a good secret, I can’t/don’t want to keep them to myself…
So here we are:
1. Telegrams! I stumbled on Telegrams Worldwide and immediately dashed one off to myself. So often I’ve read about Wooster casually sending one off to one of his insufferable aunts, and wondered what it would be like to receive one. Even though you get this via email instantaneously, it gave me a glimpse of what telegram sending was like… and I have the pretty sepia-tinted ‘paper’ to prove it! Do please excuse the rather frivolous tone!

2. Funny articles: This one in particular has both humour and honesty inter-twined… How to Pose Like a Fashion Blogger. I have to say, ‘The Monroe’ is the pose I most dislike on fashion blogs, especially when the poser is wearing a shirt. Honestly, you may have a nice belly button, but I didn’t need to see it! Head on over for some laughs –there is also a ‘part 2’ to his post, in case you want more!

4. Personalised iPhone cases! Oh yes, another handy little tool with which to surf the net… just what I needed!
Might as well truly make this accessory your own with a cute and personalized case! So far, I really like GelaSkins and SkinIt, though I have yet to try either. I will update if I do! O, and for those of you who are still on Instagram despite Facebook’s buy-out, Casetagram will make a case for your phone using your photos!
I think that’s a very lovely idea… especially considering how many beautiful photos people share everyday on the app!
5. Google Play. Shop or rent books, movies and apps in Google’s new(-ish) store! It’s like Netflix meets Chapters… only better. I hope that they will keep expanding their selection… with rental prices ranging from $3.99 – $4.99, it’s a great place to find a flick for movie night. That is, if you aren’t dancing around the ‘net like yours truly.
Have you found anything exciting on the ‘net? How do you spend Friday evenings?
xoxo,
– Miss Cathie

All these sound like lovely ways to while away time online!
*hugs* I did have fun!
Did you like the article on Fashion Bloggers poses? Hehe, it cracked me up!
It’s summer, so we try to grill out on the back deck on Friday evening.
That’s the perfect-est Friday evening, ever! Mmm, I think I should convince *someone* to start a BBQ next time!
ooh I like those iphone cases, the little bow is adorable!!
