Dear blog, I am all over the place with my pursuits these days… but honestly, I think my pursuit is that of prettiness and elegance, and dabbling in dolls’ clothes fits right in. I cut and sewed this “coat” within an hour. It was a very basic pattern but had no written instructions, and as I am an utter beginner, the collar came out slightly crooked. However, as it was my very first time sewing in miniature and without guidance, I will try to overlook that. It did give me confidence to try other patterns in future. When I have more time, I shall return, and hopefully with items that are more perfectly turned out!!
