I hope you are all making the most of the last month of Spring –because it is almost time for warm, sunny horizons and lazy days reading at the beach (or pool) if you’re lucky! I’ve come to the conclusion that all years fly by at an incalculable rate of speed. It may only be the 1st of the merry month of May –or so the year would have you think! But June and midsummer will soon come waltzing by in a blink!
Are you ready? 🙂
Getting ready for a new season is always a great deal of fun and excitement for me! There are the girly rituals, the childhood traditions and of course, new experiences that infuse the preparations with cheery joy.
Here’s what I’m doing in advance of the warmer weather:
Reveling in the cheery blooms of colour everywhere –these are at Richmond Centre!
Having fun picking out books for my summer reads…
Finding the perfect pair of bottoms for my pre-summer Ballet Beautiful workouts!
(From Roots, click here to buy)
♡ A yoga towel and Ballet Beautiful DVD to help me get in shape. ♡ An adorable sunhat for those bright-bright days. ♡ A bottle of bubbles (pink! From Crayola) because it isn’t summer without blowing bubbles. ♡ A tiny pot of Fresh’s Sugar Lip Polish to chase away the last of the dryness on my lips.
How are you getting ready for the summer-time?
xoxo,
–Miss Cathie
I put my winter clothes away, gave four bags of old items to charity and have spend far too much time in my local Lilly Pulitzer boutique.

Oh, good job with the clean-up and organization! 🙂 I especially like the fact that you donated your old items. ♥ Lily Pulitzer stores can be addictive –such bright and cheery things she has!
