Reading Out-of-Doors, and Being a Princess…

After a quick shift at work today, I came back and was confronted with a multitude of chores that had to be done around the house.  I immediately decided that such serious pursuits could wait a while longer, and went off to do some reading out of doors, as the sun was shining splendidly.  Besides which, I was dying to look over a book that I had bought from Amazon and had arrived in the post yesterday!

“I think,” said Piglet, … “I think that I have just remembered something. I have just remembered something that I forgot to do yesterday and shan’t be able to do tomorrow. So I suppose I really ought to go back and do it now.”

So you see, I was merely following a Very Important list of Priorities!  (The chores are all done now, too.. ::blush blush:: lol)

Are you curious as to what book I am reading?  Well, it is:  A Genuine and Moste Authentic Guide: Princess: A Glittering Guide for Young LadiesI first read this book when I was 15, and really fell in love.  Anything princess-y can capture my attention, but if it is too silly or substance-less, I am very disappointed.  This book strikes the perfect balance.  It covers topics from the requisite etiquette and manners, to a royal wardrobe, health and beauty (My favourite quote:   “NEVER worry about your weight.  It will be exactly as it should be if you eat well and get plenty of exercise.”), table settings, conversation tips, and of course Prince Charming.  Having too much fun to think of Prince Charming at the moment?  “Excellent!  Enjoying yourself is the whole point.”

I cannot recommend this book enough; time has done nothing to lessen its appeal!  (Shh, no one needs to know I’m two-and-twenty! ;))  I will definitely quote from this book often, as a lot of the advice is simple but just right.  After all, who doesn’t want to be a princess?

I was wondering where I could find that book, Internet-wise because I’m reading from Ireland.
